He has been coaching youth and adult soccer for 20 years. Has worked with Grasshoppers since 2000, and spent time in Japan coaching the programs in Tokyo. He has been a CYSA staff coach and has coached teams both at the State and District Level. He spent three years as assistant coach to the US National Team for Beach Soccer, and participated in the 2006 & 2007 World Cup's in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

He has taken every opportunity to broaden his understanding of the game through traveling abroad and being part of it. In the last ten years he has been to 27 different countries and to Spain more than 15 times. In that time he has spent time participating at Academia de Tahuichi in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, taken kids to Real Madrid annually for the past twelve years to train with their youth coaches, and seen an assortment of training facilities and methods on four different continents. He believes the abroad experience helped shape him into who he is today; as a coach and as a person.

Locally in the San Francisco Bay Area he has coached at San Marin, Redwood, and Marin Catholic High Schools. In ten years at Marin Catholic he coached and helped build the program into the success it is today. He currently coaches one of the oldest teams in the country the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club, and has served as the President of the very successful Amateur sides Club Marin. In addition, he has coached select soccer for almost every league in his home county at one time or another. His devotion is to soccer and the community of the San Francisco Bay Area and trying to pass on his experiences to the players who will be the stars and aficionado's of our games future. He believe no one can walk away without saying this is the trip of their lifetime because almost everyone has so far. It's unlike any trip available ANYWHERE!!!
